Two longtime lead actors are leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ after season 14! The decision was reportedly made by the show’s producers.

Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew are leaving Grey’s Anatomy after season 14.
Jessica played Dr. Arizona Robbins for 10 seasons, and Sarah played Dr. April Kepner for nine seasons. According to Deadline, the decision came from the show’s producers. Krista Vernoff, a co-showrunner and executive producer on the show, said:
Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes also wrote in a statement:
“It’s always hard for me to say goodbye to any of my characters. Both Arizona Robbins and April Kepner are not only beloved but iconic—both the LBGTQ and devout Christian communities are underrepresented on TV. I will be forever grateful to both Jessica and Sarah for bringing these characters to life with such vibrant performance and for inspiring women around the globe. They will always be a part of our Shondaland family.”
