Jerry Maren, Final Living Munchkin From ‘The Wizard Of Oz,’ Has Died

98-year-old Jerry Maren, who was the last living munchkin from “The Wizard of Oz,” sadly passed away in a San Diego nursing care facility last week.

Jerry Maren, who was the last living munchkin from The Wizard of Oz, is now heading somewhere over the rainbow.

According to TMZ, the 98-year-old actor sadly passed away in a San Diego nursing care facility.

While he died over a week ago, his cause of death is still not clear. However, he was suffering from dementia in recent years.

Although Maren had multiple small parts throughout his time in Hollywood, his most famous role was in the classic film, The Wizard of Oz. He played the center member of the Lollipop Guild, and was one of the most notable munchkins in the movie.
