French Fashion Designer Hubert De Givenchy Dead At 91

Legendary French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy sadly passed away in his sleep over the weekend. He’s survived by his partner, Philippe Venet.

French fashion legend Hubert de Givenchy has sadly passed away…

According to TMZ, the designer died while sleeping in his Paris home on Saturday night. His longtime partner, Philippe Venet, confirmed the news over the weekend.

Givenchy’s fashion house first opened in 1952, and it became famous for designing outfits for celebrities. Stars like Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Iman, and more have all worn his clothing over the years. In fact, Hepburn even wore his designs in a number of her films, such as “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Sabrina,” and was also an ambassador for the brand.

He was 91-years-old.
