Over the weekend, a wrong-way driver entered I5 and hit another car. Not only did wrong-way driver die, so did the 5 young people in the other car. A GoFundMe page has been set up for them…

SacBee.com says that the five young friends (some siblings) were “traveling back to Williams from a Denny’s in Woodland early Sunday morning when a driver entered a offramp to head the wrong way down Interstate 5.”

You may have seen the story on the local news. A GoFundMe page has been set up for the families of the victims.

According to the page:

“Please help us raise money for our 5 loved ones who are no longer with us. They brought a smile to everyones face whether they knew you or not. Please give the Lopez- Cambron, Valencia, Paiz, and Garcia family all the love and support you can. Thank you in advanced. All donations will go to their families. Rest in peace my friends Cristian Lopez-Cambron, Raquel Lopez- Valencia, Yaneth Lopez, Kistian Paez, and Jessica Garcia.”

This story is truly heartbreaking. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to the family and friends of the victims.
