What sort of things have you tried using as a form of I.D.? G-Eazy was travelling with Halsey, and he tried to use a magazine cover image of him as a form of I.D. at the airport. It actually worked, and Halsey got annoyed.

Halsey and G-Eazy were travelling a couple days ago, and upon getting to the airport he realized that he forgot his I.D. to make it through security. Now, when that happens, there are other forms of I.D. that you can use. Passports work, your driver’s license is the most commonly used, and probably what G-Eazy forgot in this case, sometimes a student I.D. works, and some people have their picture on a credit or debit card that they can use. Not him. He used a magazine cover.

The magazine in question here is the Spring 2018 edition of XXL Magazine. G-Eazy was featured on the cover for an interview. To touch on the interview, G-Eazy discussed how he balances his work/life duties with his recent success in the industry. Anyway, he showed that magazine to the security people, and apparently they let him through to catch his flight.

So this raises the question – how important and “verifiable” does a second form of I.D. need to be these days? Security is such a big concern, and we all have to update our California driver licenses to make them TSA compliant, and G-Eazy is over here waving a magazine cover to get through. What have you used as a form of I.D. in the past? Did it work?
